The Artist – 2024
Hanan Daher is a driven and creative rising junior at Drexel University, majoring in Animation and VFX. With a passion for storytelling and art since a young age, Hanan combines her technical skills and artistic creativity to bring her projects to life. At Drexel, Hanan has honed expertise in 3D modeling, storyboarding, and character animation, preparing for a dynamic career in the animation and VFX industry.
Hanan’s academic journey has helped her abilities grow and pushed boundaries with what is possible in animation. Courses such as compositing, computer graphics imagery, and animation have given her a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects within the field.This extensive education has equipped Hanan with the skills necessary to tackle complex projects and produce high-quality visual content.
Outside the classroom, Hanan is actively involved in the Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) club at Drexel. Her role in the public relations commitee includes responsibilties such as creating graphics and content for the organizations social media. Hanan works within a team to ensure that MENA’s goals and values are reflected in their social media presence.
Through Drexel University’s co-op program, Hanan was able to intern for Microsociety Inc., an educational non-profit, in Fall 2023. She took on the role of ‘Digital Storyteller and Communications’ where she worked alongside a marketing team to produce 2D assets, animated gifs, social media content, website graphics, and edited video content.
With her passion and motivation, Hanan aims to make a significant impact in the world of animation and VFX, telling stories that captivate audiences and bring them joy. As Hanan continues to develop skills and expand artistic horizons, Hanan is ready to embrace the future.
